NEXTGen Detroit brought together pet parents and their furry friends for a Canine Happy Hour on October 24 at Red Oaks Dog Park in Madison Heights.
“It was nice to meet new people that I haven’t seen coming to Detroit’s NEXTGen events and to see people with their dogs,” said Canine Happy Hour event chair Carly Schiff.

Schiff has been involved with NEXTGen for years. Being from Michigan, she enjoys being involved in the Jewish community of Metro Detroit.

Throughout the puppy playdate event, NEXTGen Detroiters were able to chat while their pups sniffed and socialized.

“It was a great event and my dog Truffle Fry Schiff was very happy, dirty and slept great after the event,” Schiff said.
