Former 100.7 The Coyote Morning Show host and radio icon Karl Shannon has died

Longtime regional broadcaster Karl Shannon died last night. Shannon had a 40-year broadcasting career in Lexington, Louisville and Nashville and spent several years as the morning show host at 100.7 the Coyote. He had friends in the country music world. He retired from radio in 2018, but continued to do voice-over work across the country and was known to appear as Santa Claus at charity events. Karl Shannon was 68 years old.
