Downtown building housing Coyote Ugly sells | Development

Nancy Manis, who owned and operated Barefoot Charlies Restaurant in Hendersonville, was a member of the LLC.

The building offers approximately 52,425 square feet. As such, the deal equates to approximately $305.20 per square foot. The Job could not determine the condition of the building, which suffered damage due to the 2020 Christmas bombing, and it is unclear whether the per-foot figure matches those of similar, recent offerings.

Vastland secured a loan, worth $11.2 million, from Wilson Bank & Trust, a separate document notes.

The building that was just sold had also housed the closed Buffalo’s Nashville sports bar and some short-term rental space.

The agreement comes as Vastland continues efforts to begin site work on its long-planned Avalon Midtown. Construction of the mixed-use building was scheduled to begin in early 2021.

Mack McClung, owner of Vastland, could not be reached for comment on his plans for the Second Avenue building or an update on the Avalon Midtown project.

The Job could not determine if any brokers were involved in the Second Avenue transaction.
