Coyotes Rank 16th in College Insider Mid-Major Poll

VERMILLION, SD — The South Dakota women’s basketball is ranked No. 16 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll released Tuesday night.
The USD is up four places from its previous rank on December 21. The Coyotes have been ranked in the top 25 major middleweight for 77 straight weeks dating back to the 2017-18 season.
South Dakota (9-4, 2-0 Summit) comes out of the Christmas break on a seven-game winning streak. The Coyotes picked up road wins at Oral Roberts and Kansas City to kick off the conference game. The super senior trio of Chloe Lamb, Hannah sjerven and Liv Korngable continues to keep pace with the Coyotes in scoring, the three with double-digit averages led by Lamb’s 16.2 points per game.
The USD returns home for the first time since Dec. 11 to host North Dakota at 7 p.m. Thursday.
